    2011 TRD offroad double cab
    Pioneer indash navigation unit, Illuminated 4x4 switch, HID heads and fogs. Black leatherette GT seat covers. toytec Ultimate lift. Now its time to mod exterior.
    I tested them by having someone drive the truck while I drove another and they are brighter than the normal lights but by no means blinding, these have the shield but are in stock housings.
    Remember dont wish more oppression we have enough already. Liberty does not come through the hands of cops.

    To further clarify this statement reflector housings designed for halogen bulbs are not meant for HID. HID reflector housings were quite common before projectors came into play.

    LOL are you talking about being oppressed because you can't use hazardous vehicle lighting?

    Your liberty ends where it infringes on others'. :) Kind of like you're free to own and shoot guns, but you're not really free to shoot them at other people (genuine self-defense notwithstanding).

    Ever been blinded in broad daylight by an HID kit? I have more than once! I couldn't imagine how bad it would be on an empty highway. Out in the boonies, you could blind someone for several seconds with bad lighting--enough to cause a bad accident. :eek:
