i decided to paint my rims black.
its a 2011 4x4 base model, so it has the plain old factory rims. my truck is silver, so i think black would look good.

what i need to know is should i paint them glossm matt, or flat black?

    what would look better?

I disagree. I like gloss a lot better. At least satin.

How about plastidip? I've been seeing some youtube videos and it looks like a good option.

Paint... use plastidip on your tools or emblems, paint on the rims. Prep them right and use paint, it's permanent and won't peel off if you happen to scuff the wheels.
