Is it a truck? BMW 550xi?

A Porsche Cayene S also meets all the criteria and get 22 mpg highway, but it's a big step up price-wise from your Taco.

At least you picked the right color. :D

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
Careful on the new dodge trucks, I get in one and do the good ol' American "slam the door test" and the door trim panel falls off..

    fucking Dodges.

Dodge is gay, besides it's Cummins powered trucks.

All the tech simply brings previously horrible gas milage to acceptable levels. Ram 1500 4x4 with the new 5.7L gets 19 mpg hwy. Ram 2500 4x4's GVWR is heavier than the EPA reporting threshold, so milage isn't provided.

    haha you think a 245hp V6 tacoma that weighs 4100lbs getting 18mpg is acceptable but a 5000+lb truck with a 390ish HP V8 getting 19-20 isn't?

    doesn't make any sense

New dodges don't really get 19-20 unless you drive it so slow that you might as well have a focus. I have a few of the 2011 ram 1500s and they are all geting an average of about 13-15 combined but mostly hwy.

and if i dont keep the revs below 2k in my truck, keep it under 60mph, and drive like an old lady to acheve 18mpg with an ultragauge it get's about 15-16mpg, just sayin, i'm not tryin to start a sh$# throwing contest but full size trucks have come a long ways in the past few years...

edit, and this is not me flooring it all the time 15-16mpg this is mabye taking the rpm's out to say 2500/3000

Don't mix real-world numbers with EPA ratings. The Taco is rated for 21 mpg hwy. The Ram 1500 is rated for 18-19 mpg hwy depending on cab configuration. Do any grades and passing in the real world, and the Ram's milage will plummet closer to the 13 mpg city rating.

I get about 19 year round with mixed driving and no lift+tires. Probably where your mileage went, but it's always fun getting something new!!

I can't do that myself, but good luck. I traded a big tire lifted taco to get more mpg for commuting.....I got a 3 yr newer, smaller tire, half the odometer, cut off the access cab, 5-7 mpg better, reg cab taco. To each their own, thanks for helping keep the economy going tho.........

You'd worry about a couple trolls who have nothing better to do? Fess up - watcha looking at? Sounds like an upgrade if it has leather. I'm watching Ford right now - they are doing good things with their power trains.
