    Hey guys,

I just did my oil change so I have a half quart of synthetic Mobil 1 oil, what do you guys do with the extra? Is its ok to close tightly and use on my next oil change (which will be about 5-6 months from now)?

Or is it best to just toss it and buy a new quart when the time comes?

I doubt there is anything that will cause it to go bad. I'd put it in my truck.

Honestly...I don't believe that anything could go wrong. As long as you re-cap the bottle it should be good to go.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
There is nothing as long as it's closed from dust and contaminants.
That oil is so stable...not hydrophilic.

You'll be fine using it on your next oil change.

I left a quart of synthetic in my garage for about 2 years that I forgot about, pulled it out the other day and it still looked just as good as the quart I bought 15 minutes earlier.

i have a can of penzoil in my garage. yup, a CAN! it is the can that you need that nozzle you punch thru the top to use. it is pretty cool. you young kids probably never even seen one..and i am not that old.
