Black door handles..

I just got a new 08 Tacoma, Prerunner SR5,access cab,4.0L V6. I love the truck. So heres my question, you all know that every other model only comes with stock black door handles besides the TRD Sports model which comes color coded. To get to the point did anyone ever try to switch the black door hanldle with a color coded door handle? Is there a mod for this? Because I was thinking of changing mine into silver streak mica to match the truck color. Any help is greatly appreciated..

I have seen a write up on swapping out door handles over on TN. Saved you some time and actually found the thread...

Awesome I have been thinking of changing mine to the black ones,white door handles suck I have found out.

 

You should post a thread to exchange your black door handles for the silver ones. Try that first before spending the money on new ones. You never know.

 

Any thoughts about having a paint shop paint them to match? I'm toying around with the idea of painting mine when I get some scratches painted.
