x2.. I don't know anything about "sealing" the paint. I want to keep the look up on the truck.. especially since I spend a mini fortune on it!

Oh, and to the OP, thanks for being the guinea pig for me.. There's a lot of stuff you're doing now that I'm probably gonna jump on board with, and maybe you can give me a heads up before I jack something up permanently or something that's gonna cost me another mini fortune to fix. Thanks!

 

Very nice! I agree with the post about mud flap removal. Just make sure it's done before the side of the flap starts to dig in into the paint. Even though it may (just saying), you'll still hide it well because its black. Very sharp. Beautiful truck. I'm jealous of your entune system.

 

i want those factory signal mirrors and the factory nav unit!!!

lol i'm gonna be searching for the mirrors now that i'm redoing all the bulbs with leds.

 

so... if the white 2012 is the storm trooper build.. is yours gonna be the darth vader build?

 

nice !! ive only blacked out all the emblems on my taco. did it last week(plasti dip). looking at tinting the tail lights but never done it. and lift and tires....

Its applied like wax but its called a paint sealant. It protects your cars paint such as bird droppimg, waterspot, acidrain etc.

 

Do you need to do a "sealant" if the dealership already pinged me for the lusterizing sealant $379 package?
