Anyway, I spilled some marinara sauce in there, and I don't know how to clean it all up.
I got most of it, but the smell still lingers.
You would think they [Toyota] thought of this already as it looks like those are for liquid filled bottles if I'm not mistaken, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Find someone with small hands... Maybe lysol whips? Test a small area though to make sure it doesn't discolor the plastic.

Well smart ass, I didn't put anything there. I ordered a pizza and I left the marinara on the top of the box located in the pic below, took a corner too fast and it fell in there and busted open. Back on topic now, my hands are too fat to get in there all the way but I did notice the marinara leaking out of the bottom of the door panel so I think I'm going to spray a little water in there to see if I can get more out.

FX retros, Blazer fog-light retro, JVC KW-NT30HD head unit, Pioneer 6X9's in front doors, Pioneer 6.5's in rear doors, two Pioneer 12" subs in sealed boxes, Sony X-Plod amp, Hidden Hitch trailer hitch, EGR window visors, two PIAA low-tone horns, Westin light bar with two 100-watt KC low profile driving lights.
The entire door panel comes off in minutes which would allow you to really clean it, maybe even with a garden hose since you could turn the panel upside down.

Toilet bowl brush with lysol wipes covering the brush might work. Or something with a long handle. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Take off the door panel, its not hard and you will be able to clean it a lot easier. I think the pocket is 2 pieces (back/bottom and door panel/front).

Seriously I would remove the door pannel also. And really clean it. Plus I would clean behind the door pannel and the kick board.

Lol. I thought it was a given to use a clean toilet bowl brush.

1 week after I got my Tacoma we went camping. My fiancee put a travel bottle of shampoo in there. The cap was broken. Long story short, I had to take the door panel off to remove all the damn botanical smelling fragrances out of my new truck.
As others have commented above, you're best bet to get all the smell out will be to remove the door panel and clean behind it. It's pretty simple to do.
