Roll-N-Lock Does anyone have this

    Thanks for the reply’s everyone I have found them from $1100 to $1300 I waslooking at the extang but I like the look and security of this product. Plus imgoing to sell my UWS low pro black powder coated tool box to offset the price. Thanksagain.

    Fellas the dang side rails are 6' long, and the bedsides on my new truck are 5'. Are things that backwards on the other side of the border?? jk

    As long as the width is the same, then the length shouldn't matter. It just wont be unrolled all the way before it hits the lock position against the tailgate. At worst case: you might have to drill a hole into the rail on either side the a locking pin to have something to lock in to. I'm not 100% sure on how this type of cover locks.

    This thing must be different than most covers. It has rails that attach to the stock rails on the front and sides, then the tailgate rail is attached with screws to the inside of the tailgate. You're correct that you just wouldn't unroll all of the cover to fit the shorter bed, but you would need to cut the side rails to fit. If I do it I'll cut it at the upper end so the lock slots would line up when closed. The box unit that encloses the roller mechanism is about 7" long, so I'm not sure I want to use it on the shortbed, since a wheeler would hang out the back of the bed.
