    2011 SR5 4 cyl needs synthetic oil?!?!

    synthetic oil change every 5k miles costs too much

    Synthetic oil is not required, but may be necessary to meet the advertised fuel economy figures. Are you on the 2-year free maintenance program?

    That 2TR engine will keep running long after the rest of the truck had fallen apart. :)
