I'm glad I can help with your long term test.

I love my truck. I was thinking of moving up to a new 09, just to use some of the profits to pay off medical bills. But the stealership wasn't coming close to what my truck was worth. So no deal. They offered me $2500 below wholesale. I told them they were crazy. The salesman agreed, he thought the price was low. He recommended driving it to 200k, or even 300k miles. He said you can't tear up this truck.

I am very satisfied with my truck! Approaching 100k miles & it still has the same power as it did when it was new. I haven't had any major repairs on it. The only things I have done is: Brakes twice,3 sets of tires;I just put 4 new Nitto NT420's tires on it, new spark plugs, & of course oil changes.

And yes I would buy another Tacoma. I see myself owning a Tacoma the rest of my life. My goal is once this truck is paid for, to buy a somewhat fuel efficient sports car for my commute to & from work. & use the truck for towing my boat & yard work. I estimate I will have 160k miles on it when it is paid off.

I still get people stopping me at stores asking about my truck. When I tell them it is an 05, they are shocked.

Yes

They are FJ 17" wheels. I wanted something a little different without going aftermarket.
