Hey folks I am in desperate need of new tires on my 05 as the title states. The junk Dunlop tires are now bald. I had good luck with BFG all terains on my 95.5 taco which had me thinking on putting them on the 05. I've also had good luck with Cooper discoverer in the past and the new at3's have caught my eye. Most of my driving is on the street especially since the wife has fallen in love with my truck but it does see some minor off road use and when I get it lifted it will probably see some moderate off road use. Living in new Brunswick Canada we deffinetly see our share of rain, freezing rain, and snow. Anyone have any recommendations on these two brands preferably someone who has tried both or any other brand for that matter?

I have the AT3's in 265/70R17 and they're a great tire. I came from the Discoverer ATR's (the tire the AT3 replaced) and the AT3's are quieter and smoother on the road. Can't go wrong with Cooper's in the snow and rain!

Rear leaf suspension. Home done tailgate re-inforcement.
My "junk" Dunlops are at 60,000 miles now with about 5.000 miles left on them but I am going to Michelin M/S 2's for replacement in a few days.

Well I went with 265/70/17 Cooper at3's. Unfortunately I can't tell you what they are like since I'm 4000km's away from my truck but will give my opion when I get home in about a months time.
