A friend just told me about this new mobil oil that is garunteed for 15,000 miles. Does anyone use this? is it to good to be true? If you do use it, how often do you check to make sure your oil level is proper?

    thanks in advance

I've never heard of it but I don't think I'd be comfortable leaving the same oil in for that long. 15K's worth of crap is a lot of crap in that oil. Not to mention condensation/moisture in the winter months. Oil's not that expensive, I'll change it AT THE MOST every 5K. Just my opinion.

I am using it as well. I just put it in on my last change and I plan on changing it at 5k.
