K&n air filter?

How often are you cleaning your k&n air filters on these second gen tacos ?

 

depends how dirty it gets man
if you stay in the mud/dust all the time or drive through tall grass alot it would be way dirtier than say if you were to never leave the road (obviously)
i would just monitor it
if you just bought it than wait a month down the road then check it and if its dirty, clean it
i clean mine about once a month sometimes every other month or longer
now when i go hood deep in a whole, i always pull the filter and check things out under there as soon as i get home

I check it every time I have the hood open... but under normal circumstances it gets cleaned/oiled when I change my oil; 3-4k.
