2012 Baja Edition

I think this is pretty cool. Kinda like ford's raptor but midsized. Didn't see another thread on this but someone tell me if there is, i don't wanna repost

Haha i knew there had to be, its over two weeks old so i figured i couldn't be the first

 

Except the Tacoma frame wont bend

 

Not worth all the extra money they will want. Go buy all the addition's yourself and do it a lot cheaper. Maybe it will come with those stupid chrome fake plastic wheel skins

 

i like the vinyl decals with "baja" in the negative space

 

That extra money can be put to way better use aftermarket.

Just an FYI, that thing is nowhere close to being even similar to the raptor. The raptor has a factory long travel suspension under it and about double the horsepower. This has whimpy suspension and "enough" power.

and if you jump it, the frame will bend...

 

oh no I'm not saying it compares to the raptor in any way at all, it just SEEMS like toyota was trying to do something like the raptor but in a midsize truck.

saw it in person yesterday at the Texas state fair. Really wasnt all that impressed. Sits slightly higher than a regular TRD with a little better suspension, has the TRD wheels and the cool vinyl graphics. Really not in the same ball park as the raptor which i also sat in. but those arnt new. I myself would buy a regualr TRD sport or off road and mod that for cheaper and create a better vehicle. But some people are into the special edition stuff and thats cool

 

Also on a side note, im starting to really like the face lift, i like both the 05-11 and 12+ for different reasons... it grows on ya

i'd personally buy an OR then mod the shit out of it with the 4-6k i'd be saving by NOT buying the baja
