3 inch lift kit question please help

    will my drive shaft life be affected if i install a 3 inch lift kit to my 08 tacoma

    You might want to elaborate a bit... of course it will be affected with a lift, you're changing the angle in which it operates. There are things you can do to correct or prevent vibrations though but the driveline will be affected regardless.

    thats what i was talking about, the angle of the front drive shaft to the wheel... and good thing you mention the vibrations. i guess its more of a hassle than i thought, just what i expected. i guess ill keep the suspension stock. thanks mike!!!

    It's a hit or miss with the vibes. I have a 3" lift and have no vibes.

    I just opened a can of worms. Awesome.

Debadged. Grillecraft grille, rear diff breather mod.     that is such common and easy to remedy problem with any lift. i lifted my truck 3 in. bought the shims, etc. and did not end up using any of them. I think its a hit or miss on noticable vibrations. zero issues and lifted for almost 2 yrs.
