I posted back in Sep about a noise I heard at cold start. Well, the noise kept getting worse so today I took it in. Dealer fixed it under the Air Intake Rattle TSB & replaced my stock intake with an updated part. Cool under warranty!

So while it was there I asked them to do a state inspection & to lube it since I started changing my own oil (thanks to everyone here making great DIY posts) & do not yet have a grease gun. Well, when I picked up the truck, the work order said chassis not serviceable with grease fittings?

    What does that mean?
Or maybe a better question is where do I buy a grease gun?

Slide under the truck. Theres 2 on rear driveshaft, and 3 on the front driveshaft. I may have the numbers reversed, but you'll see. Will need a grease gun w/ flexible hose to get to a couple of the front driveshaft nipples. Pretty simple though.

Grease gun is good to have, not only for the truck, but your sled, motorcycle, and if you have one, lawn tractor too.

their are no fitting for the front end like older trucks had. however they do make a needle that attaches to the grease gun that u can inject grease in your ball joints this is good to do it will prolong the life of the factory ball joints.
