Cab Mount Chop?

    Has anyone got any pictures or a walkthrough even of everything that needs to be done? I am planning on a 3" OME lift, and I have some 33" tires to throw on. I know I will need to do dome trimming and cutting, but it's hard to look this good! Any help is appreciated

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Agreed I've done quite a few cab mount chops and I found stitch welding the plate on works the best at keeping everything from melting. And I always keep a bottle of water near me to cool the Cab mount faster.

    I just took the measurements of a cab mount Saturday to design a CNC cut plate for the cab mount chops to take the guess work out of cutting the plates yourself and try to keep the cost down to about what it would cost buying the steel at Home Depot.

    Im running 33x12.5's. Needed to bash the shit out of the firewall with a sledge. The body mount is cut back to the top 2 bolts. Not plated...

    I'll work on the DXF tonight My measurements are as the shop and I'm not there or I would make one up right now. I'm thinking of doing them in 12g plate not quite 1/8th steel. That should be plenty strong all the cab mount chops I've done is with 1/8th plate and they are solid.

    Cut, not plated. Lots of sledge hammer beating. No swaybar with 33x12.5's on 3" lift.
    Probably wont plate it either. 1st time i did... no difference

    I have a 3" OME lift and 33" tires... I didn't have to do any cab mount chop's at all. The UCA rubbed pretty bad before spacers, and now with spacers it seems I will need to do a slight bit of trimming on the fender flares...

    I'm not sure if I'm special or not, but I was under the impression cab mount chops would only be necessary for 35"+ tires...
