My truck was backed in to and the rear bumper is going to have to be replaced. Should I get another stock bumper or should I get something else. I don't off road or anything now, my truck is too new for me, but one day that could be the case. Thanks for any suggestions.

This is how it currently sits:

All pro has a sweet plate bumper if you ever see yourself needed more clearance back there. I like the look of them....but oem color matched looks good as well (just got myself a new one and had it color matched.)

Get a plate bumper and get out & have some fun with it. My Taco is newer than yours and about 20% to 30% of my miles are off road. Just take it slow & easy untill you learn what it is capable of.

This is the only bumper with a closeout below the license plate. It reduces departure angle, but useful if you inadvertently back into a pole or tree. The other bumpers (All-Pro, Relentless, CBI, etc.) leave the plate area open.

I had the suspension TSB done so the back is up a little more than the front

I will vote for OEM color matched, (although the Tactical Armour bumper does not look too bad either.)

I had a very nice lady and her insurance get me a CBI rear bumper after a chance encounter in a parking lot. http://www.cbioffroadfab.com/
As said above, I would get a plate bumper for the looks and extra protection even if you don't off road. Just make sure you don't back into anyone with it cause it will definatly leave a mark. (by the way, good looking truck OP)

Thanks for all of the suggestions so far guys. I can't believe All-Pro is the cheapest of the rear bumpers suggested so far! Still undecided which to go with

Just keep in mind many of the plate bumper builders are one man shops with loooooong lead time - as opposed to factory replacement which can probably have you rolling clean and fixed two weeks from now.

    Something to keep in mind.

I'm in no hurry. This will not be an insurance claim. I'm getting an estimate and I will be paid cash for the damages to get it fixed. I can roll with that bumper if necessary until the new one gets in.

Based on price and looks I'm contemplating the All-Pro Rear bumper. The only thing that bugs me is after doing some research on here it seems that you have to do some fab work to get clearance for the spare tire, and the license plate light holes are too small for the factory lights to fit. Since they are specifically built for this model, I would hope they could make those adjustments. I'd hate to have to pay for it and then have to do a bunch of work to get it to fit. People seem to be happy with them though

I went with the All-Pro Rear Bumper. Can't wait to get it, linex and put it on!

I would just get a colormatched rear bumper if I were you, not a huge fan of the metal rear bumpers but hey thats just me. Nice truck by the way OP!
