Cut and Pulled Bedsides?

I know that it is done on other trucks, but ive never seen a 2nd gen tacoma with cut and pulled bedsides. I was just wondering if anyone had done it or knew of someone who had done it and how it turned out.

Thanks for the help!
Hudson

No, I'm talking about pulling the bedsides out to provide more wheels coverage and clearance.

Sorry I'm not made of money. I actually think if done right, it looks really good and very clean. And I'm not talking about doing it myself, if it does get done it will be done the right way.

like fabing a "dually" look to the tacoma bed? and adding two more tires to the rear axle?
why add more wheels?

can you post a pic of an example

He doesn't want to go dually - he just wants to make his bedsides act as aftermarket fiberglass fenders (allowing for more coverage/clearance like on LT trucks) by pulling them out.

No haha, definitely not adding another wheel. I think it looks really good on this tundra.

Really? $350 fenders or modifying your existing? Sounds like a no brainer as modifying existing seems like it could be more expensive to me - but go the route you feel is best!

Crawlers should have the fenders trimmed though IMO. LT looks good with pulled fenders.

I think as long as it is cost effective, it's a great idea.

Doesn't look too bad IMO.
