275x70x17 with 885s & 5100s

    I am putting on the 5100s & OME 885s up front and 5100s + 2" AAL rear...

    can I fit 275x70x17s without trimming ?? I plan to use stock wheels for the time being, will I need spacers ??

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    You shouldn't need spacers and I don't think you'll need to trim anything but you may hit the body mount at full lock.

    Do you know of anyone running a set up similar to this ?? Im sure most people go ahead & trim for the 285s but I really want to avoid that. I may stick with the 265x70x17s just because apparantly not many people make a good aggressive all terain in the 275s..

    There is exactly a half inch difference on the diameter, calculation wise. The actually size of the tire may vary. The other thing to consider is there are not a whole lot of 275's choices out there. I just found 5 on Tire Rack and Discount Tire direct.

    I don't know anyone running them offhand. Personally I wish they had more of a selection in the 275.

    I think you'll need wheel spacers to fit the 275's. When I put 265/70/17's on my stockers it was very close.

    Hey thanks alot guys. Yea it would be great if more people made the 275, with the options out there I think ill just go with the 265x70x17 to get a tire I actually like

    I had no problems with them at all. I had my Billy's at 2.5 and had the Toytech coils with LR UCA's. I had zero problems with it. Didn't rub at all. I was running Goodyear Duratracks.

    I have 275/60s and I had to trim some plastic and body mount chop on the right side. It's real close on the left, but it doesn't touch.

    My wheels are 20x9 with -12 offset. I've got around 3" of lift
