Key got wet

I left the keys to my 2010 Prerunner in some dirty jeans that I ran through the washing machine. The keyless entry and the ignition key still work, but I'm worried about problems later on. Anyone ever do this?

 

put it in a sandwich baggie full of raw uncooked rice.

 

Put it in a cup of rice over night. That will absorb the moisture. I've had phones go through the wash and keep working after drying them out in rice.

 

put the remote in a bag of rice...dries up the moisture

if you didnt it might get rusted inside later and cause problems, dunno about the key though, i have a 95

 

do the rice thing. best thing you can do it put it on a dehumidifier. i soaked my phone 3 months ago and did that over night and it's been fine since.

 

put it in some rice
