So I got orders from Tucson, AZ to Trenton, NJ. Since it's just me and I cant load the tacoma in the back of a car carrier (per uhaul and penske). It looks like I'll be using the 6x12 trailer uhaul has to rent. Question is Ive never towed much very far, looks like it will be about 1000-2000lbs (probablly more like 1000lbs) in the trailer and my 300lb dirt bike in the bed. In your guys opinion will this work, will my truck be ok for this 2000 mile journey with this load. Thanks for the help in advance.

Forgot to mention towing with a 2008 PreRunner Double Cab Sport

You'll be more than fine.

I just pulled a 6x12' Uhaul from San Diego to Portland with my 4Runner and didn't have any problems. The Tacoma won't either. :D
