I went to the dealer today for some service. I mentioned the cat thefts. My service advisor says he gets about 4/week! Yikes. At the cost of $1500/each to replace, that's a hefty bill. I know, stupid-high stealership prices.

Now that crazy priced $300 cat clamp isn't sounding so bad, considering the cost of potential loss x2 cats at $3000.

Or I need to get those skid plates on quick. Lifted trucks are especially prone:eek:

I would never live even remotely close to anyplace where vehicle crimes happen, I never even heard of exast systems being stolen. Yes I know my vehicles could to targeted unexpectedly, but there not, and there not going to be. :infantry: :bananadead: :woot:

They found a guy near here crushed underneath a car and he had been there dead for a week or more. (This was some storage barn out on a farm).

They found out he was in the process of stealing the cat when his rigged up jack stands fell.

When I lived in Richmond someone broke into our truck inpound at work and stole the cats off 4 trucks. The office was in a pretty good area of the city also in the west end just inside the city limits... Crime happens everywhere man, get your head out of the sand.
