the more you filter the less air you get. I use the old cheap fiberglass ones in my house. HVAC will tell you to dump those high dollar restrictive filters. In the truck I just take it out and blow it off now and then. Service techs love to sell people filters. One thing I heard that helps with the truck filters is to avoid running AC on recir all the time.

I put this one in mine a few days ago, can't go wrong. Skip the carbon, seems like overkill to me.

    http://www.amazon.com/TYC-800038P-T...=1424888620&sr=1-6&keywords=tacoma+air+filter

Rockauto has the same one, but by the time you factor in shipping its the same cost as if you purchased on Amazon ( that is if you hit the free shipping hurdle of $35).

Holly cheap fucks. The filter cost $5 and you risk the chance that your cut up filter will go into your heater fan. If you don't want to spend $5 just don't run a filter. Lots of older vehicle never had them and never had an issue.

Do you make your wife/girlfriend wash out they're used tampons?

I haven't pulled out the manual to put an eye on this, but does anyone know what Toyota's recommended interval is for cabin air filter changes?

If will very greatly depending on the conditions you drive in. Pull it out and have a look. It only takes a couple of minutes to do and it's super easy.

Changed mine a few months ago, took like 5 minutes.

Bought it from the dealer, think less than $30.00

One I took out was pretty filthy, then again I have 79000 on the truck.
