I am going to get some pictures up under my build page later this week after the rain passes and I can get the truck good and clean (and see if they hold up during a wash)

i have done both, but prefer to spray paint them. with plastidip emblems, i was terrified to wash and dry my truck for fear of making an emblem start to peel. i eventually got tired of it, removed mine, painted them and like them much better.

If u want more pics let me know. I used rustoleum bed liner on my entire rear bumper, and my grille surround. And I havent heard one person not like it yet. I was skeptical. But love it now.

What he said. But I took a heat gun to mine for just a few seconds to soften the glue. Fishing line goes right through and you can clean the left overs easy. I only painted the side eblems and relocatedthem onto the side step but kept the rear on chrome and relocated it to the tailgate handle. I have to update my picks only have the taill gate one.

I was just thinking, the stealer ship sells everything for our vehicles, I wonder if would be a whole lot easier to buy the OEM stick on tape if it were to come pre cut it would be great. Tacoman355 and 05 TRD Sport how much were those that you bought? Did you ask about the adhesive only?

Has anyone looked into the OEM tape?

I know this thread is old as shit so I am gonna hi-jack as the previous info is still really good and we don't need more of these threads.

I am going to black out all the chrome on my 06 SR5. Are there any good rattle can bed liners?

I have been leaning towards derp but, I pin stripe my truck every weekend hunting, fishing camping and what not. I feel that the derp would come off too often. Would I be fine with some good quality Krylon Matte black?

I will do all the emblems, Front grille surround and rear bumper.

And I am still debating whether I powder coat the stock steelies or derp. So please all you guys out there that have done this, more opinions, pic and experiences are welcomed.

I tried both, and spray painting is so much easier and better looking quality wise. Did mine with light sanding, rustoleum plastic, and krylon matte clear finish.

I plasti dipped my emblems and put the glossifier as well for the glossy look. Came out great! what do you guys think?

Planning on dipping or painting my front grill emblem white.

Was thinking of taking this route on my Super White 2015...

What white spray paint did you use? Prep by sanding and priming as others have mentioned?
