So I finally saw a 2012 tacoma in person

and I think the pre 2012 2gen tacomas look way better however, I do argee with most people that the inside is a bit nicer on the 2012s than the pre 2012 2gens

 

I think the front bumper looks horrible on them.

 

I really like them. The front end will grow on everyone

I see them everyday because I sell them. I just cant get past the grille and headlights... dont like it one bit. On the other hand I love the whole interior style, subtle changes but looks fantastic!!

All the people that say they dont care for the 2012`s will come around in a little while to liking if not loving the new look, always takes a while for people to warm up to something new, heck i remember when the 2nd generation first came out, i was like WTF, now look i own one ha ha

 

I'm not crazy about the front bumper/headlights...like the previous one better...and what's up with that pimped out satellite antenna??!! It's a truck, not a euro-sports-sedan!! I like turn-signals integrated into mirrors, would be cool for them to light like the one's in the FJ...I do like the "black carpet" and "black door trim", hides the dirt much better than the gray--OLY

 

Yes, but that one is if you like it better. This one is after you actually saw it in person if you like it better. In that one you could have seen it on a website.

Don't like it, I do like the front end but just don't think it matches the rest of the truck. Once that front end is on an entirely updated body it will make sense.

 

i think they look ugly. it reminds me of some type of hybrid

 

speaking of hybrid, the prius v looks pretty cool on the inside

NEVER!!.......unless if gas goes way way up but then i woulod get a motorbike.....oops thought you meant prius v

 

I will get used to them but, I think Toyota is making them look too much like an SUV or car. I guess to appeal to different more mainstream buyers?
