did i just do to my drivetrain by driving in a circle on pavement in 4wd.

    Here's how it happened:

i just finished cleaning the inside of 2011 4x4 DC OR, headed out the driveway to get lunch. felt some binding turning left out of the driveway. "That's weird". i just had some work done on the left side, so i pulled into a parking lot and drove in a big left circle to try and duplicate. yup, binding. then i look down and see the little green 4wd indicator light illuminated. CRAP! i must have thrown the switch while wiping down my dash.

did i do any permanent damage, or is it ok?

NAAAAAAA your fine. Drive train is tougher than you think. If you were doing it a lot then yea there would be an issue. We all forget it sometimes.
