TINT

What percentage is the factory tint on the back windows of a 2nd gen TACO??

 

I just had my windows tinted a week ago and the tech informed me the back windows were 15%. I don't know this to be true or false, just relaying what was told to me.

I had my fronts tinted at 20% and it is only a bit lighter than the rears from the outside.

15% is true, 20% is usually what people use to match the rear..

 

Don't know? Maybe it varies by region? I know on the Toyota web sight it states the tinting complies with Mississippi State Law which is 27.5% on all windows.

 

Not sure of the percentage but the rear glass is privacy glass and the glass itself black

 

Ok sweet, I appreciate the info. I want to get my front at 20% most likely and rear to like 10%. I believe in Delaware which is where I'll be moving to you can have the back windows as dark as you please.

 

pretty much the same in nc, all they care about is the front doors and windshield.
