Hey, im new to this forum and wanted some help from people who know there stuff about tacomas. I have a 2011 PreRunner 2wd double cab, with VSC and ABS brakes. I wanted to lift my truck about 8" front and 5" rear. Ive been searching for a while and all i can find are 6" lifts and leveling/body lifts. I found this lift kit which suits my needs (http://www.topguncustomz.com/Store/Gen2ProdDisplay.php?iview=250182832), but i dont know which body lift to get, and what would actually work with it. I am not planning to do hard core off roading, but i dont want my frame and body to fall apart either. Any suggestions? Any info is welcome. Thanks

After much research the conventional wisdom here is never ever lift a pre-runner, and body lifts are strictly verboten.

Workman thinks OME is the right lift for you.

I would say get that pro comp lift and crank the coilovers up 2" and for the rear get a 2" block and lets say..all pro 3" leaf spring and call it good. As far as body lift ummm..get whatever you want

Have fun "lightly wheeling" that thing..
