    Yeah, I have an Aries guard on the front of my 4Runner. It does exactly what I want it to do, hold my lights, and protect the front of my car from shopping carts and sorority girls. I know that it wont brotect me at all in the event of a collision. If you want it for looks/light mounts go for it. But it sounds to me that you want it to protect you in the case of a collision. In that case get a ARB, ATO, CBI, etc.

    The warn is made from steel but it does not have solid mounts and only protects you it you hit something perfectly in the center where the rails are. If you hit something slightly off center, it will still f-up your stock bumper.
