2nd Gen Tacoma to 1st Gen Tundra.

I am thinking about selling my 05 tacoma and getting a 03-04 tundra.
Anyone here gone this route? Words of wisdom or things to look out for? Anything you miss?

Love the Tundra as well, but it's just too big as a daily driver if you ask me.

How much do you want for your Tacoma if you go for the Tundra?

I would be looking to spend around 9-10 on a tundra and would end up with some cash left over for a small daily driver so the tundra would be limited duty.
I used to have a 91 pickup and a BMW 3 series but ended up selling both and getting the tacoma but I'm kinda bored with it as a daily. i want to do things to it that make it impractical so Im thinking of getting a tundra for that and another 3 series for a daily.

Yeah better built for sure. My friend bought a bran new 03 TRD 4wd. It had actual leaf springs, no noisy blower motor and no rattles. He beat the living crap out of it and it never once said no more.

dad has a 2000. something that has happened to are’s is the front seat belts (mostly just the driver) don’t want to retract back when you get out. they still lock like they should in a crash tho. it’s something the the spring or something. i don’t remember.

That looks like a lifted Ivan Stewart model. Very nice!

Do it.
I love my tundra & looked 1GEN prior to buying the one I did. Price on the left over model year plus the trade in was too good to pass up.
