Remember the days when you'd drive home from the dealer with your truck, remove the mudflaps and instantly, and i mean instantly sell them for $150- ? I sure do, the first thing i did when i bought my truck was sell those things, i had them sold within 5 minutes, posted sold in the thread and still got another 20-30 pm's. Thanks to huskyliner for comming out with the same exact oem style flap and selling an entire set for 60-, i belive those days are now behind us.

Except the Husky ones don't say, "4X4" on them. That's worth an extra $100.

Your right, I sold mine days after getting the truck on ebay for 150. Didn't want to rip anyone on TW off...but some ebay fool, what the heck.

At that time it wasn't even ripping anyone off, 150 was a steal compared to the 400 a dealer wanted for them

I still would rather have factory since they are longer based on my area in which I live.

Way to much salt and crap on the road.

I like the husky flaps but the front flaps are too short and will allow it to build up salt snow and ice on my rockers.

I know they have a chance to break but hey at least now the factory ones being sold might be cheaper on here since you off roaders in the south take them off.

OEM is always prefered in my opinion, you could have always bought generic mudflaps before, this doesn't change much, but its nice to have another option.

Except the husky's are a better plastic, are wider by a small margin and have more concavity (both of which help with larger tires). Plus when you can go from stock to husky's and make almost $100, why not

I took my stock ones off because they rubbed on everything so I sent them to the underground storage.

Hasnt anyone made a set of hard rubber mudflaps for the taco yet? Seems like a logical step - cheap, easy, flexible...

I hated morons like you who removed mud flaps and shot rocks all over my vehicle on the highways..

Its not very kind to the other drivers on the road IMHO
