Back pressure situation.

So I have my rear set of cats deleted. Just replaced it with pipe. And also am about to replace the muffle with a y pipe and new tips. Question though I have read that you dont have backpressure from this? Or are people talking about cutting it off at the cab? Question is, if I have my rear cats deleted and muffler deleted but pipe is ran (sealed) all the way to the tips do I still loose backpressure?

you will loose some bottom end grunt in exchange for top end power.

Not exactly the best thing for a truck meant to haul things.

I wouldn't really say you gain any. It would be so negligable. You will notice the loss down low though. And like chris said, no back pressure. Its all about how well the exhaust system scavenges the gasses out and away from the engine. Opening up the exhaust is not always a good thing, especially when N/A. The stock exhaust system does a good job of this.

Im already modded sorta. I took my cats out already and put a flowmaster 80 series dual. But I need something louder if you guys know of anything.

louder would be to chop off the muffler and straight pipe it. But like I said you will loose a tiny bit of power for more sound.

Flowmaster 40 series is about the loudest, most annoying sounding exhaust I know of.
