2008 Headlight Retrofit

Ive undertaken my first Projo Retro and here is how the first light has turned out. I havent done the final bake so everything will tighten up abit once thats done. Im not sure if this picture even shows what i see.

SO heres the last rough fit test and allignment before i seal the first one up with some comparison shots to the standard BHLM. They were shot in the day obviously but the lights are so much brighter at night.

 

of these two what does everyone think the better option is?

 

Paint the shrouds black lol. Is the first one halos? And second is Apollo's? I mean it all depends on your own tastes. You have to look at them when you walk up to your truck.

 

They are actually the same just one is already painted. The chrome way makes me think of the terminator and i dont know how i feel about that haha

 

My vote is the painted one. I think it looks better imo.

Not related, but couldn't help to notice you took the time to hide your tag number, (I still don't get it) and then let it fly in your last pic.

To the point, I like chrome bowls/shrouds best with BHLM, but, with black bowls the black shrouds look better, IMO.

lol and if and when you go to meets people take pictures....so regardless one way or another it gets posted somewhere

 

No idea just saw that everyone appears to do it so I did obviously I wasnt to concerned since I forgot it on a pic. Now everyone Look me up and come break into my truck haha.

And i see that yalls post picture have no lisence plates at all... Do you not drive with a front plate ever?

 

Well in Cali it's state law to drive with both rear n front plates...but I refuse to put it lol don't say anything haha

 

No front plate in Alabama, thank goodness.

 

I wish texas didnt care vehicles in general look so much better plateless. Auto Makers dont design a vehicle around what front plates will look like

 

Yeah, I think so too. Some of my buddies are like, "you need to get some sorta cool tag for the front of your truck", I'm like fuck you!!!
