While finishing up a stereo project today, I lost one of the 4 mounting bolts into this abyss behind the A/C Controls panel:

I heard a clunk, a roll, a clunk, a rattle, a few thuds... and it was gone forever. I was hoping someone here could gove some advice on how to get where it possibly landed. I don't THINK it's in a bad/problematic spot, but I would just like to get it out. As always, any help is greatly appreciated!

How about trying a shop vac? Shove it in as far as you can and listen for the bolt to come out.

no take out your center console and the piece around the shifter and it should be back near the yellow box down back there

I had a similar situation but had my console removed when I was
installing the stereo. You'll recover your lost pieces quickly this way.
