most people with "bad ass" trucks on here are not 16 and have a steady income other than their parents, be happy with your nice truck at 16.

Dude, when I was 16 I had nothing close to the badassness you currently have! I can imagine the frustration but seriously bask in the glow of your stockness and enjoy!

    Must be nice.

Im just jealous. My parents paid for half of a 93 ford dually. In 2004...

Your still living at home get a part time job and you pocket all the money that truck will be a beast in no time!

By the time I traded away my dually for a gran Torino it had a sidewinder turbo kit, diff locker, electronic fuel pump, dual side pipes, rims to run 33x8.50 on the rears, and blew the doors off of the little foreign cars. All at around 6 miles per gallon!! All working part time and saving my money.

Patience young grass hoppah. I wanted a tacoma in the worst way when I was in highschool. I worked every weekend servicing trucks and cleaning offices of the family business and still couldn't afford one; Good grades or not my parent's weren't paying for it. I had to drive an oldsmobile work $5 for three years instead. It took 9 years to finally be able to afford a tacoma and it cost me my girlfriend to fix it up the way I want it. It's nice to have goals but don't be too greedy...There's no doubt that plenty of people would love just to have your truck as it sits.

Dude, just stay in school... The money will come. It happens slowly, but it will happen. I would recommend working, but not to the point where your grades suffer. Don't get too hung up on people's builds. Most have put a lot of time, money, and effort into them.

Enjoy it. You'll get mods eventually. But I do know how you feel, I'm 42 and want to mod mine but with a wife, family and house I'm in the same boat. Too many other things come first.
