I am rather new here, so I thought I would introduce myself to everyone... The names Ryan, I am 19, and I live in Maryland. I own a 2006 4x4 Double Cab Tacoma, red. My father recently gave me the truck because he got a F-250. I'm not arguing with that! :D

After Christmas I will hopefully have, a K&N cold air intake, along with a Wicked Flow Muffler, window tint, and window wind guards. Sometime in the next week or 2 I plan on painting my engine cover, and I would love to paint the "4x4" on the mudflaps, but I am not sure how to do that. If anyone knows the best way to paint the mudflaps please let me know. I have searched and I cannot find anything.

Thanks, and I'm glad to be apart of this awesome forum:)

The flaps just sand down a little and get that "fusion" paint by krylon. Made or plastic and works good

Sharpie paint pens work well on the mudflaps too. Though I was using a white one to just touch up the fading. Don't know if they would work well if you are trying to paint them a different color.

Where are you from in MD? I may have seen you at some point. I felt like a saw a fairly stock truck with anytime fogs recently.

Don't be too bummed if you do some serious four wheeling and the mud flaps break off... All 2nd Gen Tacoma flaps do if you drop into a deep rut, roll over a big rock, or too heavy a load of mud on them. I kept putting my '05 flaps back on. My 2010, I just removed them and am done with it!

    Enjoy your Toy!

Better chance it was BAMF cause I'm from AA county. I'm never really in Harford county.

It was probably me, I went to AA community college for the fall, and I have gone to the mall quite a bit lately. Its a very good chance it was me.

Doing some mall crawling? Ha ha, welcome to TW! Oh and drop the mud flaps, it looks a ton better without.
