2009 side mirror on 2012?

    Someone drove by and ripped off my drivers side mirrored on my 2012 sport. The mirror it self is fine, it just broke the mount. I found a 2009 mirror on Craigslist for $25. Does anyone know if the mount from the 2009 will work on my 2012 mirror?

    I do have turn signals. I'm not looking to use the older mirror assembly. Just the piece that mounts it to the truck. It is two pieces, the mirror an the base.
