Manual Transmission oil change

I am about to change my manual transmission oil & i am just double checking if this is the correct weight (Manual Transmission: 75w90). Any specfic brand I should use or stay away from?

75w-90 is the correct weight. IIRC about 3 qts. Seems redline mtl and mt-90 is really popular.

I use AMSoil severe gear 75w-90 with no issues and I too have read that Redline MT90 works good.

Nope. The drain plug has a magnet in it so just clean the shavings off of it and you're good to go.

Yes, but the main reason is so that you know you will be able to fill it back up after draining it.
