    I am about to change my manual transmission oil & i am just double checking if this is the correct weight (Manual Transmission: 75w90). Any specfic brand I should use or stay away from?

    one more question is their a filter in the transmission like a automatic???

    Nope. The drain plug has a magnet in it so just clean the shavings off of it and you're good to go.

    no problem. just make sure you loosen the filler plug before draining it

    ok. I am guessing that makes the oil drain faster correct???

    Yes, but the main reason is so that you know you will be able to fill it back up after draining it.

    yeah, you don't want to get stuck with no oil in the tranny and no way to fill it back up.

    you may need a fluid pump depending on the type of bottle your oil comes in

    go with amsoil or something else..been reading up on royal purlpe after chase from ecgs said something about in regards to using it in the diffs..seems like a lot of peeps don't like royal purlpe after googling and reading about experiences in various forums
