The leather is a very tight fit to the seats, all around. I too have seen installs with wrinkles and ripples and that would drive me absolutely nuts. It was well worth the cost to have a professional do the install with all the proper tools and experience.

Same with the sunroof, the headliner is tight and smooth all around.

Two great options (along with heated seats and mirrors) I don't understand why Toyota hasn't offered. Great job improving on an already great truck.

This looks fantastic. I'm moving up to cleveland in July, I'll definitely have to look these guys up. Any other comments, positive or negative, you'd like to leave about the shop you went to?

The feedback I have is all positive, highly recommend them.

When you get up this way, send me a PM and I'll connect you with the owner.

Your truck turned out excellent. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the leather installed? I've been looking for a good installer around Cleveland as I don't want to do it myself.

Do you mind me asking how much it cost you to have the Katzkin installed? I have a set sitting in the basement right now. I guess I'm not ambitious enough to tackle it myself.

What's the difference between the 2011 headrests and the 2012 ones?

I only have a total price for the leather installed, not itemized for material. I had the option to buy the kit myself but I opted to have it all go through them:

$1,100 + $200 for two tone, plus perf center, contrast stitch and embroidery + $250 for seat heaters and installation so $1,550 total.

The rear headrests are the only ones that changed...the two on the outside have a lever that allows you to fold down for easy rear viewing vs. pulling them out altogether.

Really superb job! A sunroof will be the very first mod when I take delivery of my 2012...

Have you noticed any noise or vibration from the roof? A friend warned me there have been some issues (generally speaking) with aftermarket sunroofs and vibration.

The only noise is when fully opened, which is:
    1) the buffeting of wind inside the truck which is remedied by cracking a rear window(s). This occurs about +45MPH (been too cold to have it open all the way so guessing). Same thing in a DC when you have that awful buffeting/reverberation when the rear windows are down and not the fronts.

    2) apparent at highway speeds due to the pop up wind deflector which will flap like crazy - one of those wind visors mounted on the front of the sunroof will fix, but I hate those things...plus, I only use on vent at highway speeds.

That's good to hear, and not unexpected. My friend was referring to the structural integrity of the truck being weakened by partial removal of the top, causing some kind of chassis noise or creaking. This has not been an issue with your Tacoma, it sounds like.
