Sweet mods. When I get my 2012 I will be adding leather as well. I live in the cleveland area as well so this recommendation is awesome. Toyota sux for not adding the leather option, but I think their thinking is that they don't want the tacoma to compete with the tundra pig.

That' is awesome that you were able to install the roof without messing around with your overhead console. Question: with the sunroof installed behind the overhead console like that, does it ever feel like it's too far aft? Would you have preferred it to be more forward if you had the choice?

The roof is installed as far forward as possible from my understanding per the installer. The upper console was moved forward 1.5" to keep from being cut. The outer edge of the Inalfa trim ring is about 10.25" from the front edge of the roof where the windshield hits metal.

Still loving it, tilted or open on every drive!

Those covers look sweet, how much did you spend on them if you dont mind me asking? I am assuming they work with the seat airbags?

Yes, they work with the seat airbags (original covers removed and sold on TW). Total cost was about $1,550 - includes labor, two tone leather, perf inserts, contrast stitching, embroidery and heater elements.

Based on what the installer said, it was just reattached with existing mounts "more forward"....note on the headliner, it is all brand new material, they did not reuse any of the original.

Question: are the seats leather all the way around or just on the "sitting" surface?
I just ordered a 2012 to my specs and in the Southeast Toyota region you can get leather as a PIO. Almost went with the heated leather. Changed my mind when when I saw the sales woman's 2010 truck with leather. It was a full leather seat and the bolsters (the raised side "lip" you slide your butt across while entering and exiting) was all cracked. And she said she maintains it regularly and meticulously. She also said that many companies, even luxury lines, will use a faux leather on those surfaces that isn't as susceptible to cracking. I think that's what my wife's Sonata has and its holding up really well with minimal care.
So I was wondering if catzkins had taken that precaution or if it was an option?
