Bed rack

Has anyone used or seen this? I am wondering if I can still get some type of tonneau cover?

Did you remove the plastic bed caps and mount the rails on the top of the aluminum? what footpads did you use and did you have to do anything custom (welding, brackets etc...)

What model rail sliders did you use (track on the bed)? Thank you for all the info.

not sure what you are asking... the tracks are made by thule, only one style made that i know of, and they are about 48" long i believe but they come in various lengths. 48" is good for the DC imo. the towers are yakima rail riders, early version of the yakima control towers. control towers would also work but i liked that the old rail riders sat a little taller for more clearance over the tonneau.

no i cannot not. you also need to make sure you get the tonneau style that sits in between the bed rails... not wrapped over the bed rails. you need room for the tracks.

if anyone is interested i have some parts to get you started on a project like this...

i have a set of railriders, bars, and locks. you would need to purchase tracks appropriate for your bed length and landing pads and you're good to go. i also have a yakima basketcase if you're interested. smaller style basket than that safari one i currently have pictured. google "yakima basketcase" for details.

I have a bed rack system, that is mounted to the top bed rail plastic, the screw are long enough to go through the metal. Don't buy the yakima tracks there to expensive. If you search my name i have a post with pics.
