What antenna do you have on your Tacoma?

I jus use a good ol piece of coppah whyahhh!

 

I like having the stock antenna on, it always scrapes on low overhanging pipes and beams when I'm driving in parking garages. Its like a warning that I'm about to hit my roof on something and need to proceed with caution. Why give that up?!

 

I'm going with the 13" Antenna X, it looks sweet and getting tired of my stock hitting the garage door when pulling in

 

Stock. It pinpoints the exactly perfect spot for the Taco in my garage so I can still walk around the truck. I have a golf ball hanging that just touches it when I pull in.

 

i got some generic all black little stubby of ebay. works well.

 

I've been using an old through the glass CB antenna lately. Works good and it's something different....

My antenna is stock, but has bend about 8" from the top :Cookiemonster:

 

I just ordered the 13" AntennaX one.. Ive been using a cheapo 6 dollar one I got from AutoZone. And it bends really easy and now the paint is starting to peal off.

 

I got the 14" antennaX

 

Just picked up the 14" AntennaX. Sounds good, cannot note any change in reception. Looks good, of course.

I dont listen to the Radio, but I hate the stock Entenna. Just want something that looks better and isnt soo long. But will give me good Reception when/if I do liten to Radio.

It would always hit on tree branches and shit... It was annoying.

 

Same here, so I just trimmed my OEM to +/- 18''. If you take some bolt cutters, you can trim your stock antenna to any length you want then put some electrical tape around the end so it isn't so jagged, or take the little ball from the part you trimmed, cut that off and superglue it back onto the trimmed antenna. Looks good and you can't even tell unless you're really looking at it.

 

^^I did that too my 07 Taco Entenna, I just didnt want to do that to my new 12's..

Finally replaced my powered antenna with a new own base and antennaX 13" antenna.

 

I have a stock antenna...just hacked about 12 inches off and re-installed the ball
