    Just bought it!
Any of you guys know anywhere online that sells aftermarket pieces to cover the center console for different arrangements? I love my truck(automatic transmission) but I have no idea what they were thinking when they designed the interier. 9 cup holders in an access cab, 9?! As if that wasn't bad enough they felt the need to put 7 of them in the front where only 2 people can fit.

I already pulled the little divider from the compartment in front of the shifter and use it for normal storage, but for some reason I'm really bothered by that cup holder behind it, this one....

Either way, I was curious if anyone makes covers that replace that whole piece ( http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/at...4-wtb-09-shifter-bezel-cup-holder-shifter.jpg ). I'd really like to replace that back cup holder with a shallow rectangle compartment, even if it's only an inch deep. I know there's stuff under there so you couldn't go too deep. I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd check. I might do best to just buy a used one, cut it up and see what I can come up with myself.

no storage compartments from what i've seen. it's very possible to add something, but it can't really be more than an inch or inch and a half in depth like you want. i added the fj switch panel and had to modify underneath the shifter panel slightly so the switches would work. you could get better depth if you "raised" the storage compartment slightly. here's a few pics of what i did...
