Folks: Here's a picture of my 09 Taco with a Sno-Way Snowplow. It will be just for driveways. I have to go now and start praying for snow

Cool! I grew up in the midwest and we always had a plow on something.

Awesome a snow plow mod! Will the snow plow double as a in-law plow, or a your idiot-get out of my way plow? If so I may need one. LMAO

I've been thinking about adding one to mine too. But the cost, wear and tear on the truck, and fact my driveway isn't really that long have made me hesitate! lol

That looks great and perfect for your driveway.

Thankfully my neighbor does "ours" for free since we share a paved private street & he won't take any money so every year I buy him & his family a gift card.

Anyway back on topic, nice pic and bring on the snow!

Are you happy with the amount of power/torque that you have in the Taco to push the snow? I am thinking of a plow to handle the Michigan winters.

I will need to put a plow on my 08' after we get moved to our retirement home near Colville, WA. Your set up likes like it'll get the job done.

That's a nice plow. I hope it pays for itself and your truck.

All your missing now are the directional arrows mounted on top of your truck! I'm assuming your running a CB radio with a PA system in it! What accessories can't we imagine on our trucks. We make Tacoma's look real good (although there are a couple of bad inventions are there). I like this one!

We just had our first big snowfall of the season. Friday into Saturday we got a foot of snow. I plowed 8 driveways, two apartment building parking lots and one office building parking lot. My taco and plow did just fine. The truck had lots of power. It's snowing again right now as I watch the Patriots football game. They say we're getting another 8-10 inches so I'll be out plowing again tonight. There's one driveway that is super steep. Yesterday, by the time I got to it, there was about 6 inches of snow. The diff lock made all the difference in the world.

How does the plow hold up? I thought about getting a snow-way, but so many people have told me composite blades are crap and break easily. My father in law said I wouldn't want to plow a parking lot with one. Thinks it would break the first time I hit a curb, pothole, etc. Any problems with things like that?

Wow, these trucks are pretty tough huh? So much for "just fro driveways like your original post... Keep an eye on those ball joints...

Here is western ny for an avg. driveway you can expect to pay 20 bucks or so. There is a few places that advertise $15 per trip. I think the avg drive would be around 15 by 30. But then again my driveway is over 1000' so its hard to calculate that one.
