I have the super 44 right now, I've had it for around 6 months now and it's to loud for me, and plus you won't get performance from it. I've been wanting to get something else since the first month I put it on, but I just didn't have cash for it then. I might soon...

I went from a super 40 to a 10 series. The 10 series is quite a bit louder but doesn't sound near as good as the 40 did. And as stated don't expect any performance gians from just a muffler.

i have a flowmaster 40 that rattles like mad it started doing this around 3 months in and now i need to replace it on my dime.

i'm pretty pissed about this actually because it sounds great on my 4 cyl and i'm happy with the way the exhaust is done up but, the fm is complete shit.

also others have had the same problems with them so its not just a one time deal either.

i really like the wicked flow and aero turbine both of them imo would be better choices than the fm.

Listen guys, he wants a serious opinion. Dont' post on here with negative comments. No one really cares how bad u hate something.

Me and my cussins have flowmaster 40's on our tacomas. They sound pretty good. One of the has a 4 cyl auto. One with a v6 auto, and I have 4cyl manual. However, everyone likes a different sound and expects certain things out of an exhaust system. Most people think that the exhaust is going to make a noticeable difference in power. Its not. Its just going to make minor increases in hp and torque on a dyno. Just go with what sounds good. You can check this link out for more info before you buy.

i love the way mine sounds on my 4cyl but, fm has a problem with them making a rattling noise apparently psu tacos truck does this as well he has the same 40 series i do and if you search the web there are more people complaining about the same issue.

i never cared about horse power or anything like that i just wanted some decent sound thats it the muffler made the truck sound great but, it broke in less than 3 months a baffle has came loose or some shit cause it sounds horrible in person.
