thru body exhaust tip.......

Has someone done a thru body exhaus tip on their truck.......

What u think about it open to opinions?

 

Will probably look good on a x-runner, but I don't know if it will look right on a lifted truck.

 

It's been done by a couPle of people , maybe someone will post pics

 

Where are you going to be putting it? I think it'de look nice right in fron of the rear tire. Like some of those muscle cars do. I dont plan on doing it though, I like it where it is at.

 

I want to do it in the rear.......(were the blue tape is at)
........I'm just worried about the heat ........

Why is it shaded in some different slices of the paint, clearcoat peeling or just dirty, or am i seeing things?

 

i have a couple of friends who did it on there explorers. NO problems melting the paint, just the "soot" on the paint needs to be consistantly cleaned, or it will stain.

 

I love when people post crap like this, they dont explain it, and they dont come back. Why exactly isnt it a good idea?

Saw an lt 1st gen with the exhaust in front I the rear tire...shit looks soooo sick in person

 

I was actually thinking about doing this or have it come straight out the bumper.

just put a high clearance bumper on and i need to move the exhaust to a better place.
