BHLM Wait time

what was the average time everyone waited for the paint to cure before putting the lights back together. I read one post saying to wait over night. Just wanted to get more inputs.

 

I waited a couple days due to not having free time and I have a second set
Overnight sounds good .

Shit, I let mine air dry to 2hrs, cooked em then put them back together and on the truck shortly after. I followed viets directions. I figured doing the "pre-burn" would set the paint?

 

I didn't let them cure. The chemicals let off by the undried paint ruined the plastic lense. I thought it was just condensation, it was a permanate haze. Couldn't polish/sand it out. Ended up buying new headlights.

 

Too late now but the 'pre-burn' as it's called from Viet's write up should set the paint pretty well. If you haven't noticed the haze within the first couple days, you're most likely good to go.

When I did mine, I did the pre-burn on the paint and let them sit overnight before re-assembling.
