I have an SR5 Tacoma, '06. Currently I have an open diff in the rear. From research, I have found that the 3rd member in the Sport model is the same size gear as is in my SR5. My question is regarding the ABS system. If I get an LSD in my truck, will the ABS system have a fit, not seeing the wheel spin it figures it's supposed to? I'm wanting to get a 3rd from someone who's put a locker in their truck, I just want to know about the ABS system, and whether I need to invest in the 4WD computer as well.

Thanks. Just the word I wanted to hear.

As for the reason, I have to be honest with myself, and realize that my truck will be a pavement queen. With the ice/snow on the roads in winter, a LSD would be nice to have. If I'm not going to use a locker, why drop the money on one? An LSD is plug-and-play, and I get the traction I want.

So I have a line on a factory LSD for a good price. My nephew and I are going to replace it. I have one more question.

    RTV or factory paper gasket?

I love my LSD IN SR5. I'd use a thin film of RTV to hold gasket in place....both
