Factory Jack and 3in lift

    Mods so far: Tube steps from toyota, Bed extender from toyota, Spare Tire lock, Sound System Makeover, Tacoma All-Weather heavy duty rubber floor mats. Rear TSB, Icon Coilovers w/ TC UCA's and 3inch rear block with rear 5100 bilstein shocks, Black Headlights, Grillcraft black grill, Devil Horns from Andres, Black Headlights, Chrome Liquid Metal Gatlins Wheels, 285/70R17 Nitto Tera Grapplers, Wet Okole Seat Covers! Seat Belt Chime Mod, Flowmaster 50 series dual exhaust, Debadged tailgate, TRD Decals, HID hi/low + fogs.
    Will the factory jack work with a 3inch lift in the front and 2inch in the rear?? I see a lot of guys with hi-lift jack mounts.

    Weathertech liners, bed mat, rear spring TSB, extra 12V outlets in center console, seat belt chime off
    you could always carry a couple cut down 2x4's to put under the jack if you're on a level surface

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    just go ahead and get a hi lift...u can get one for like 60-70 from a tractor supply or northern tools...u can get attachments to hook to the wheels or to the bumper...pretty damn handy, especially if u have some good sliders welded on and can lift the entire side up

    Get a different bottle jack my stock would work with the 5100's had to buy another bottle jack where the top screws up for added length and the bottle jack will fit in the stock place under the seat

    Anyway. I'm looking at buying a new floor jack and stands. Should I get anything special, or is this post mainly in response to the OEM roadside Toyota jack? What jack stands does everyone use?

    Really?? I'm 3" up and I couldn't get mine to lift the truck enough to get the tires off the ground... And that was with two big wooden blocks under the jack!!!

    I tried to lift the whole side from the middle, on the frame...

    Is jacking on the LCA safe?
